After spending most of her time slating Notting Hill and Brits in general, I doubt many will shed a tear at the prospect of Holly Valance leaving these shores.

Holly said last year that Brits were "bitter and twisted", and is apparently taking time out to re-evaluate her career, says the Daily Mirror. She fears her Warner Brothers record contract won’t be renewed, and a friend of Holly’s has said that the sort of singer has ’left her London flat, put her furniture into storage and gone back home to Australia’.

The friend said: "It really is crisis time for Holly. She’s only got four months left on her recording contract and she knows it won’t be renewed. She’s gone to Australia to assess her options."

Hmm - an iffy singing career, a contradiction between spouting how she hates people who takes her clothes off for attention and then dropping them at every marketing opportunity, a sacked manager, and was it Neighbours or Home & Away she appeared in - anyone remember? It appears Holly’s options may be somewhat limited...

Hooray for Holly-wood - 12/01/04
Holly Valance has bright lights in her eyes and they are not reflections from the stalls down Portobello Road.

Apparently the actress turned singer turned somewhat stroppy madam, wants to leave Notting Hill behind her and jet off to L.A, to try her luck in Hollywood. Holly has been on a two-week holiday back to Melbourne, where she organized the flowers at her mothers wedding. So it seems she has a taste for a warmer climate - Melbourne is currently 16c and L.A is 12 ?C, as opposed to here being approx 4c.

Holly hates Carnival - 10/09/03
Oh dear oh dear. Holly Valance has moved to Notting Hill, but seems to spend most of her time moaning about it...

Holly left Kensington behind her to move into Notting Hill, but only after a few weeks of being here discovered that she was living above a brothel. Now it turns out that she hates the Carnival too, as she has just discovered the carnival procession passes by her rented front door.

She said ’It’s a waste of time - a bunch of people doing nothing but vomiting on my front lawn. I barricaded myself in the flat until it was over. I couldn’t understand what people were being entertained by.’

That surely isn’t the right state of mind, Holly luv...

Holly Valance sued by her former manager - 11/09/2003
Australian pop star Holly Valance is being sued by her former manager for a reported £5million.

Holly sacked manager Scott Michaelson in January 2002 just as her singing career was taking off. Michaelson directed the Kiss Kiss singer’s career and also set up her initial record deal only to be dropped four month’s before her debut single reached Number One in the UK music charts.

She will be flying out to Australia for the preliminary hearing on Monday. If the case goes to trial then both are expected to give evidence.

Kensington based Kylie wannabe, Holly Valance is currently in the States talking to the Muscles from Brussels Jean Claude Van Damme about a film collaboration.

Holly it seems is very keen to follow Kylie’s every move, Neighbours, a singing career and now a starring role alongside Van Damme (Kylie starred with the muscle man in the movie Streetfighter!)
