We had an email this morning reminding us that Emilia’s next audiobook is out in December. The book is also in production for a movie "I Capture the Castle" by BBC-movies and stars Romola Garai from Attachments with Producers David Parfitt & Mike Newell.

Emilia Fox is the newest local face to join the petition to save Notting Hill Library, her name will join a long list of well known people, such as Martin Amis, Harold Pinter, Dinny Hall, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Mark Lenu, to name just a few.


Biography
Emilia Rose Elizabeth Fox was born July 31 1974 in London.  The daughter of British thespian royalty Edward Fox and Joanna David, Emilia swore for many years that she would never follow in the family footsteps and instead attended Oxford University.

However, a part as Georgina Darcy in Pride and Prejudice soon changed Emilia’s mind and she followed up this success with further parts in Rebecca, The Scarlett Pimpernel and David Copperfield.  Her breakthrough part however came in TV series Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) alongside Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves, who she started seeing during filming.  She got engaged to Vic but they split shortly before making it up the aisle.

The turn of the century saw Emilia score a number of great roles including Jane Seymour in Henry VIII and Rosie in the feature film Keeping Mum.  She also bagged a part in hit TV series Silent Witness following Amanda Burton’s departure and has appeared in many small productions, including ’Cashback’, ’Gunpowder, Treason & Plot’, ’Spirit Trap’ and ’The Virgin Queen’.

Biggest productions to date must be The Pianist and Things to Do Before You’re 30.

She married fellow actor and son of Richard Harris, Jared, in 2005.  They now live in Acton.
