Description: 68 Notting Hill Gate is a 1st Floor club where you can chill ’n’ funk out and drink to late.

The club is unusual by the fact that it has minimum street presence and is located on a first floor, and has a real members’ vibe to it! Once you find the front door on Notting Hill Gate, you stride up a small staircase to be greeted by an exotically serene Asian themed lounge room. The club capacity is 100 and is situated 10 seconds from Notting Hill Gate tube. It is open four days a week, closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays.

The club is like a large living room and we were dancing on the tables and singing at the end. What a marvelous evening. Must come

MFM said on 13th May ... "I had my birthday party here last Saturday and had a fantastic time. After being ignored for 3 days by Trailer Happiness (my original choice) they finally got back to me to say they were fully booked. Blag on the other hand were incredibly helpful. They reserved me an excellent area and made sure I knew what time my guests had to arrive to get in for free. The manager introduced himself straight away on the night and told me to let him know if I had any problems, later on he helped get my sister in without waiting.

The venue is small but holds a deceptively large number of people and the music was really varied which pleased everyone in my group. One thing I will say though is to make sure you specify if you want a single measure because I failed to spot the sign behind the bar and got stung!

Overall though, it was superb.

I got all my mates down to the club for a mate's birthday and we took up the very smart VIP skylight area overlooking the club.
I guess it is all about the location that got everyone there - next door to the tube stop, so easy - but it was a quality night. Kudos goes to the DJ for playing spot on tunes."

i was lucky enough to find this little gem of a place after a friend of mine recommended it. and from what i hear, this place gets booked up every week on recommendations from past party goers alone! and i was not disappointed in the least. A wicked house party vibe, mixed music giving everyone a little piece of what they wanted to hear and an unpretentious crowd and staff. it was nice to let my hair down on my birthday and simply get taken care of. of course, the glass of champagne bought by the manager to welcome me on the night made all the difference... x

Hannah said on 14th May ... "Don't go here. A group of us went there last weekend. We could have totally forgiven the fact that it's a weird little place (feels a bit like you've gatecrashed someone's living room). Could forgive the fact that it was WAY too brightly lit.

What couldn't be forgiven, however, is the fact that - despite having a tiny capacity - they'd booked in four large birthday groups, and were also letting in members of the public. If anyone from the groups turned up late they simply couldn't get in. We ended up having to leave.

Not great for a joint birthday really..."

Maria said on 28th April ... "My friends and I had organised a massive party on guestlist and had high hopes for the night after seeing the venue and meeting with the manager. However, we were disappointed. Throughout planning there was a lot of miscommunication.

Having the majority crowd, we were confined to a third of the area of the club. The DJ refused to accept any requests, and insisting only on playing rock.

It was only when we had spoken to management, who managed to "sweet-talk" her did she start to play some party tunes.

It's a nice place but I would not go back there or choose to have another party there."

The interior is all done out with these Hindu shrines, which makes it very bright, colourful and fun. The staff are friendly, helpful and trendy and the clientele are the coolest in Notting Hill. There's a good selection of drinks and the music is always fabulous as is the tapas style food. ""
