Saturdays nights can be so blasé which is why Blag Club is hosting a fun-filled Friday night to get you frolicking on the dance floor. Launching a brand new Friday night called JAMDOWN at their Ladbroke Grove venue; Blag Club will ensure you kick off the weekend mayhem in style.

Commencing on October 3rd, JAMDOWN will be a night dedicated to the local community. Not only will it be reeling out house, electro, hip hop, funk, soul, party classics and club classics choons, but local, legendary and up and coming DJs will be on board too, as well as live music from 8pm till 10.30pm.

Placing much emphasis on the local support, Blag Club have also devised a new members card for people who live and work in the local area.

"Had some Rugger team drinks down at the Ladbroke grove blag after enquiring about the Notting hill Gate one. i was told they were full up there so it was suggested that we go to the Ladbroke branch. Have to say I wasn't expecting such a diamond in the dirt, great place and really friendly staff. The manager greeted us on arrival and got us in the mixer. good times! "

"I organised a guest list here for myself and my work colleagues on a Friday night and the service was fantastic! i called up and got through straight away, arranged a reserved area! and then on the night managed to get all my lot in for free before 9. Admittedly I had few too many and ended up leaving a bit early but the rest of the office had a brill night out. If you havent been to the blag I recommend trying it. Lucy G"

laura said on 17th June ... "I have not been to Notting Hill venue, but the one in Holland Park is awful. I will not be returning. It is very small, the paint is peeling off the ceilings, dirty toilets even at the beginning of the evening, the night we went, cloak room was closed. I decided to take a chance with this club and take a group of foreign friends and was left in a very embarassing situation, everyone wanted to leave after the first drink.
Also - when you go for a cigarette, you have to leave your fingerprints on a machine by the exit and that gives you 10 min to be outside, if not back witin that time, have to pay a fiver! Unbelievable! On the positive side - the music was very good. "

We had an amazing if you like rare groove then you HAVE to go on a friday night. The DJ played songs that we had forgotten about. We didn't stop dancing until the lights were turned on."

Like most people seem to recommend, i booked in through the head office and got a table reserved for free.

The bar staff were very friendly and the DJs played a great mix of tunes. I am happy to recommend this place to anyone."

Johno Smith said on 10th March ... "Was having a great night at the Blag until the bouncers went nuts on a group of guests who were hosting a party there. Really wrecked the night for all patrons there, especially when they started headlocking women.

Not recommended for people who like to mind there own business or get assaulted for no reason. I won't be back!"

Simon said on 03rd March ... "I hosted my 30th Bday at the blagclub and was very well looked after. From the booking to the night itself I was taken care of. We got food and a bar tab and all my guests thought it was a brilliant venue.

Marky said on 14th November ... "Would like to say a bug THANK YOU to you and your staff for making my brothers birthday a great evening- we all enjoyed every second!! The staff on that night were really helpful and co-operated around what I needed. Marchin was great and so was Alison at the door, as well as the bouncer. The bouncer agreed to play along in a joke and give my brother some grief about coming into the club!! which was hilarious!!

It turned out to be a fantastic night and everything went according to plan!!

I have to thank the staff again that were on duty that night - Great effort.

I will defiantly be visiting Blag again soon."

This tiny venue located in Notting Hill Gate boasts a large personality with a warm atmosphere. I had the best birthday party there....and I definetely recommend it!
